Parenting Tips
There are definitely times when I feel I need this page more than anyone! I will say, after suffering from both infertility and loss, the most heart wrenching thing for me is to see other people act like they HATE being a parent. I say "act" because I'm sure those parents would also do anything in the world for their kids, but from an outsider's perspective, it doesn't look that way and it's torture for me to hear mother's complain constantly about their kids- even in front of their kids!
We live in a time where there is more to do than ever before and less and less time! I do believe in the saying "you can have it all", but I don't think you can have it all, to the degree you would ideally like, all at the same time. So, if you are in the parenting years, your house might not be as organized, your car as clean, or your wardrobe as nice as you'd like to have it.... but it actually doesn't matter. What really matters is family; family love, family security, family time, family fun, family bonding. I wholeheartedly believe that family is the foundation of society, and I will promote marriage, children, and the joy of parenthood all my life!
